Janet Toedtman, 77, Lebanon, was eastbound on U.S. 50 about 3 p.m. She attempted to pass a tractor-trailer, driven by Brian Baker, 45, Valley Center, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. Her 2002 Honda hit the semi before it spun, crossed into the westbound lane and was hit by a 2002 GMC utility vehicle, driven by Carey Hodge, 41, Garden City, Kansas, according to the Web site.
