Learning about orbiting objects, constructing mini rockets and discovering how craters are made on the moon also will be part of the fun.
A special exhibition at the museum, Apollo Redux, allows visitors to sit at an actual mission control console from NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Texas and learn about the unsung men and women of NASA Mission Control who created the magic that resulted in the historic achievement that stunned the world 50 years ago.
Admission is $14.50 for adults, $12.50 for seniors (60+), and $11.50 for children (3-17). Children under 3 and members are free.
