“We’ve been promoting the film all around the country and I’m excited to share the impact this true story has with my home community,” Knopp says as part of the release.
Knopp was a producer for 2018's "I Can Only Imagine."
That film follows the life of Bart Millard, lead singer of the Christian band MercyMe.
Millard was inspired to write his mega-hit song “I Can Only Imagine” by his father’s death from cancer.
"I Can Only Imagine" is among the top 10 highest grossing faith-based films of all time on the movie site boxofficemojo.com.
The movie has racked in $83 million at the box office.
