1. Local organizations to help those impacted by Hurricane Matthew

Hurricane Matthew will reach the U.S. within the next day or two and some organizations around the Dayton area are preparing to lend a hand.

2. Springboro restaurant will reopen soon with new owner

SG75 Gastropub at 75 N. Main St. in downtown Springboro has been closed for a few weeks but will reopen soon with new ownership, according to the eatery’s previous owner.

3. Possible sale for prime Dayton real estate

Dayton Public Schools released a notice that it intends to sell the large undeveloped property in Dayton’s Central Business District at 118 E. First St.

4. Oct. temps returning this weekend

Today will be the warmest day of the week followed by temps in the lower 80s on Friday. A cold front will arrive on Saturday where temperatures will drop to mid-60s.
