Look forward to a wet week

Memorial Day starts a week that will be warmer than normal, but wet.

Clouds will increase throughout the afternoon today and it will become breezy later today. A pop up shower or storm is possible late in the day or early this evening, said News Center 7 Meteorologist Kirstie Zontini.

The pollen count is moderate to high today, she added. Temperatures will reach the low- to mid-80s and fall into the 60s tonight.

On Tuesday, slow-moving storms could bring some heavy downpours. It will be muggy and mild, with highs in the low 80s, Zontini said.

On Wednesday, more showers and storms are possible, mainly in the afternoon and evening. Highs will be around 80 degrees said.

Thursday will be partly sunny, but still with the chance for showers and storms. Highs will be around 80 degrees, she said.

Friday will by sunny, with highs in the low 80s, Zontini said.
