Mail truck shot in Clay Twp.; USPS offering $10,000 reward

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $10,000 in the shooting of a mail truck in Clay Twp.

A contract driver’s box truck was shot multiple times while he was on his route on I-70 west at exit 24 around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to the USPIS.

He was not injured during the shooting.

The shooter is believed to be a white person and was driving a dark-colored pickup truck.

A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the subject.

All information will be kept confidential, according to USPIS.
