Based off the investigation, it appears that the chainsaw jumped, injuring his neck and face, according to the sheriff’s office.
He used an ATV to get himself home and get help.
Freisthler was treated at the scene, then taken to Wilson Health. A mobile intensive care unit then transported him to Miami Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
