Man forced to drive with gun pointed at head, car stolen

A Dayton man was found bleeding with facial injuries after he said a man and two women robbed him of his car after holding a gun to his head while he was driving, according to a Dayton police report.

Officers responded to 2500 block of North Main Street around 4 a.m. Monday after receiving the report.

The man told police he was sitting at a traffic light at North Main and Parkwood Drive, when a man wearing a mask approached the driver’s side window of his vehicle and pointed a gun to his head, the report said.

The man then opened the rear passenger side door and got into the vehicle and held the gun to the back of his head.  Two women also got in the passenger side of the vehicle, according to the report.

The victim was told to drive to a parking lot, where the male robber hit him in the head with the handgun approximately four to five times, according to the report.

The trio then reportedly pulled the victim from the car and hit him with an unknown object before the robbers stole the vehicle, the report read.

The victim was transported to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
