Initial reports indicated the suspect took a cash drawer and left the restaurant, dispatch records show.
A short time later emergency dispatch traffic indicated the suspect may have been taken into custody.
A worker reportedly chased the suspect, who then returned the money.
No threats were made and no weapons were shown during the incident.
