Troy City Schools Superintendent Eric Herman told those gathered for the 18th State of the Schools report that the district has “a lot of kids doing some really unbelievable things.”
Herman reviewed numerous student and team accomplishments during the report to local government and other leaders Wednesday, April 20.
Herman again mentioned the district is going to undertake an exploration of the district’s buildings and options as they continue to age. District leaders have no preconceived direction for the future of buildings, he said, adding the community will be asked what it wants to do.
“I am not saying our buildings are not in good shape at all,” Herman said. “We look at buildings that are very, very old. We need to have that type of dialogue.” NANCY BOWMAN, CONTRIBUTING WRITER
