Phone line issues resolved at Miamisburg government facilities

Issues that caused a disruption with incoming phone calls to Miamisburg government facilities have been resolved, city Public Information Officer Gary Giles said Friday morning.

FIRST REPORT (June 27):

Miamisburg's government facilities have not been able to receive incoming telephone calls throughout Thursday because of technical issues with the city's phone carrier, city Public Information Officer Gary Giles said Thursday.

Service had still not been restored as of the close of business, he said.

The city can continue to receive emails, and the regional 9-1-1 system is NOT affected by the current problems.

The carrier has not provided an anticipated time the service is expected to be restored.
