“The defendant will spend the rest of his life in prison, where he will be unable to sexually assault any more children,” said Montgomery County prosecutor Mat Heck Jr.
Pate was indicted on 10 counts of rape of a child younger than 10; 10 counts of gross sexual imposition of a child younger than 13; two counts of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles; and four counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
He was convicted on 25 of 26 charges.
