No more tickets available for Obama event

All tickets for President Barack Obama’s rally in Springfield on Friday have been distributed, a spokesman for the Obama campaign said Tuesday evening.

The campaign event for the president, to be held in the Springfield High School gymnasium, has been moved to Friday.

Doors will open at 10:15 a.m., and he is expected to arrive at about noon, Clark County Democratic Party Chairman Ron Rhine said Tuesday afternoon.

The event had been scheduled for late Thursday.

The president canceled all Wednesday campaign events in Ohio to monitor the response to Superstorm Sandy.
