A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday afternoon after striking a truck in Springfield.
The crash happened around 4:20 p.m. at Kenton and Beacon streets, said Lt. Randall Balentine of the Springfield Police Division.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the crash scene at the T-intersection. The man’s identity has not been released pending notification of family, Balentine said.
The crash remains under investigation.
