The female was believed to have suffered minor injuries in the collision of a minivan and a sedan that left the latter vehicle on its side, a MetroParks ranger said. She was trapped in the crash and had to be extricated.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
The people in the minivan were not injured, the ranger said.
Wreckers have cleared the intersection and the intersection has reopened.
INITIAL REPORT
Multiple medic and rescue crews have been dispatched on a report of a multiple-vehicle crash, with entrapment, at U.S. 40 (National Road) and Diamond Mill roads in Clayton.
The accident was called out about 9:40 p.m.
We’re hearing the accident involves two vehicles, one of which has come to rest on its side.
We’re also hearing at least one person is having to be extricated.
