The Downtown Dayton Partnership has launched a new gift card program that is designed to help boost sales at local businesses during this difficult health and economic crisis.

Consumers who buy a $25 gift card to a business of their choice through the program will get a $15 bonus gift card to a “surprise” business.

More than 60 downtown businesses are participating in the program, including bars, restaurants, retailers, coffee shops, salons and arts and entertainment venues.

Gift cards can be purchased today, starting at noon, at www.DowntownDayton.org/BonusBuy.

There are a limited number of gift cards. Households are limited to four bonus cards.

“We know this has been an exceptionally tough year for our businesses, and want to do everything we can to support them through this trying time,” said Sandy Gudorf, president of the Downtown Dayton Partnership. “For every gift card purchase made, that money will go directly back to our downtown businesses.”

Gift cards will be mailed within 30 days of purchase.
