The City of Dayton has announced that, beginning Monday, May 20, Nicholas Road will be closed to through traffic between Danner Avenue and McArthur Avenue.

This closure is so a contractor for the City of Dayton Water Department can install a new water main, though the project includes resurfacing this section of the road after the water work is completed.
That section of Nicholas Road will be closed for up to 2 months. A posted detour will direct traffic around the closed area.
