A woman was transported to Miami Valley Hospital with serious injuries after striking a tree near Catalpa Drive and Siebenthaler Avenue.
Preliminary investigation by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office revealed that only one vehicle, a black Chevy Tahoe was traveling south on Catalpa Drive when it went off the right side of the road and struck a tree, according to a release.

Crews responded to the crash around 1 p.m.
The driver was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated by the Harrison Twp. Fire Department, according to a release.
The crash is under investigation by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office
