This is just one of the construction projects that the city of Dayton has in store for the summer.
Steve Finke with Dayton’s Public Works Department said, “We have a payment management system where we rate the streets. Also, street maintenance crews run daily. They have a good idea of which streets are used the most. We also have maintenance records and evaluations of which streets we close.”
The road closure is going to force motorists to find an alternate route around the construction.
