A woman was injured Monday night when the pickup truck she was driving went off East Westbook Road for unknown reason and struck a tree.
The woman was taken to a hospital. Her injuries were not considered life threatening, Trotwood police said.
Police said the truck likely would have continued off the road and into a house had it not hit the tree.
The accident was reported at about 9:30 p.m. along the 700 block of East Westbrook Road, in the area of Cheri Lynn and Romaine drives, near Westbook Road Park.
The woman, whose name and age were not released, was able to climb out of the wreck by the time fire/rescue crews arrived, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center radio traffic.
