Pine Club adds the surf to its turf for July 4th cook-at-home special

Its dining room remains closed, but The Pine Club is offering a surf-and-turf-like special this weekend to celebrate July 4. The cooking, however, will be up to you.

Starting today, Thursday July 2, the iconic Dayton steakhouse at 1926 Brown St. near the University of Dayton will again this weekend  offer  its uncooked steaks via online ordering, with pickup available behind the restaurant. And this weekend only, the restaurant is offering an “add-on” to the purchase of any steak box: two lobster tails for $30. The package also includes a bottle of Pine Club wine. Buyers must be 21 or over.

Pre-orders must be placed before Saturday, July 4 at noon to be eligible for the special. Pickup behind the restaurant will be available from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The steakhouse offers Filet Mignon, Rib Eye and Strip Steak options as well as some combination packages. The selections can be viewed and ordered online at thepineclub.com/shop/steaks.

The restaurant also will be taking orders in person while supplies last.

The Pine club is offering free ground shipping for all steak box orders, and lobster tails are available for shipping, according to Chris Ryan, assistant general manager of The Pine Club.
