Fire and police crews worked together to rescue a kitten from a drain pipe under the deck of Bellbrook home Friday.

The kitten was stuck 4 feet down the outside drain pipe, according to police.

With help from the fire department, Officer Kevin Long used a snare tool and a “fishing technique” to rescue the kitten from the pipe, according to a Bellbrook Police Department Facebook post.

The kitten is doing well following the rescue.
