Tremaine was a driver in a four-vehicle crash that shut down the section of the state route north of the Dayton Mall for more than four hours, according to police.

His cause and manner of death will be determined once an examination is completed.

Police believe Tremaine possibly suffered a medical issue or emergency, which led to the four-vehicle crash that shut down the section of 741 for more than four hours, Miamisburg Police Sgt. Mike Aiken said.

All four vehicles were southbound on 741 when the accident occurred between Habitat Boulevard and the Home Depot store at 345 N. Springboro Pike, he said.

Tremaine was the only injury reported in the accident, he said.

Everything that happened after that is being sorted out in the ongoing investigation, the sergeant said.
