DP&L crews have restored over 2,000 customers power within the last few hours, according to DP&L Spokesperson Kevin Hall.
Most outages, with the increase of gusty winds, are due to tree limbs falling and coming down into power lines.

Crews will continue to work through the rest of the evening to ensure all customers are back in service.
It is unknown when all power will be restored.
