Construction on the Primanti Brothers restaurant on North Fairfield Road near IHOP and Target appears to be close to being complete.

Primanti Bros. — a popular chain in the greater Pittsburgh area known for its "Almost Famous" sandwich, which includes meat, coleslaw and french fries on Italian bread — is expected to open in April, according to previous interviews with a Primanti Bros. spokeswoman.

The restaurant will employ 50 to 100 people, mostly on a part-time basis, according to the company.

Beavercreek would be the third Primanti Bros. location in Ohio. The restaurant chain has two locations east of Dayton, in Niles and Boardman, as well as three locations in Florida and 14 in Pennsylvania.

The 24-hour flagship restaurant, which traces its roots to 1933, has been featured on the Food Network and the Travel Channel.
