Area artist Christina Gluck will facilitate a community art project during this weekend’s Troy Strawberry Festival.
Festival visitors are invited to stop at the Mayflower Arts Center at 9 W. Main St. downtown Saturday, June 7, to help create a community painting intended to capture the spirit of the festival and Troy’s downtown. Project hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
People of all ages and all art skill levels are invited to participate. Materials will be supplied. There is no charge. The completed canvas will be displayed at the Mayflower Arts Center and auctioned later in the summer. For more information festival events at the center visit www.MayflowerArtsCenter.com.
