The Troy city engineer is reviewing traffic signals for possible removal. Public comment is being solicited prior to a decision on each intersection.
The signals under study are located at Mulberry at Race, Mulberry at Simpson and Cedar at West Main Street. Signs have been placed at the signal locations with a notice of possible removal of these signals.
The signs include information on how to submit comments on the proposed removal can be submitted to the city.The staff will analyze comments, review traffic counts and make a recommendation to Patrick Titterington, service and safety director, regarding removal of each signal.
