Gov. Mike DeWine’s plan calls for allowing swimming pools to open May 26, the day after Memorial Day.
Here are six ways going to the pool will be different:
- Fewer lockers will be available
- Restrooms and public areas will be cleaned every two hours
- Barriers will be installed between chairs and tables on the pool deck
- Nonessential congregation areas will be closed
- Pool decks will be marked to remind people of social distancing
- Pool operators may implement a reservation system or time limit for swimmers to accommodate a lower pool capacity.
