An officer responded to the Hertz Byers Car Rental around 10:39 a.m. Sunday.
An employee told police that a male drove off in a white 2017 Kia Optima that was parked the Hertz return lane, according to the report.
The officer noted that the Hertz area of the parking garage does not have stop spikes or barrier devices that would prevent vehicles from being driven away.
