REPORT: Man runs into burning Darke County barn to rescue animals

Crews were called Friday night to a report of a barn fire engulfed in flames that may have spread to a house.

The fire was reported about 10:15 p.m. in the 4000 block of state Route 121 South near Greenville.

According to initial reports, a man was believed to have gone inside the burning barn to rescue animals. He made it out, but it’s unclear whether any animals were injured or perished in the fire.
