He pointed to the notes passed to pharmacists with similar wording.
A man robbed the Breiel Boulevard CVS store early Tuesday and got away with pills listed in the robbery note. It marked the third time in 2017 robbers hit the store at 820 South Breiel.

A man wearing a bright red baseball cap, black sweatshirt and back sweatpants entered the pharmacy at about 12:07 a.m. Tuesday, handed the pharmacist a note stating he was armed and listing the pills he wanted, according to the police report.
The robber also specified he wanted the pharmacist to give him the pills in two separate bags. After getting the bags, the man exited the store and ran west on foot.
Police estimate the entire robbery lasted about three minutes. Two other employees in the store were unaware a robbery occurred until the man left the store.
The robber is described as a black male, thin build, 6 feet tall. The suspect’s description is similar to that of a man who robbed the CVS pharmacy in Franklin on March 23.

That man passed a note stating he was “armed and dangerous” and demanded drugs.
On March 29, the Middletown CVS pharmacy was robbed by a black male described as stocky. However, the note the robber passed had very similar wording, according to police.
Reeve said a similar robbery has also occurred in Hamilton.
“It may not be the same people,” he said, “but they could be working together.”
Reeve said he does not know why CVS stores are being targeted.
“That is something we might find out when we make an arrest,” Reeve said.
Tuesday afternoon a post on the department’s Facebook page said, “Other cities in our county are experiencing the same problems, and if you research around the country, everyone else seems to be going through it also. At a time in America when there are so many drug problems, it seems desperation to obtain pills and theft of prescription drugs is high on the list.”
The posted continued, “If you know something, anonymously bring it forward to us. If you see something, call the police right away. Anything and everything helps when it comes to investigations. We are currently working with other agencies in our county over the same issue and are trying to tie it all together.”

On Monday, Bethany Scott, who is charged with robbing the CVS on Breiel of Perocet pills in January, was denied a lower bond by Butler County Common Pleas Judge Jennifer McElfresh.
