The two suspects tried to open in a safe without success. News Center 7 was told the men became anxious and fled on foot. West Carrollton police Sgt. David Wessling said both men were wearing masks. They were described as black males in their upper 20s or early 30s. One had a white T-shirt covering his face and a black bandanna covered the second suspect’s face.
Authorities searched a nearby apartment complex. At least one K-9 unit was on scene.
No arrests have been made.
