Robbery reported on University of Dayton campus

The University of Dayton released new information on the robbery early Friday.

The female student said the robbery happened when she was walking from her car to her residence.

One of the three suspects pushed her against the side of a building and demanded her wallet, according to UD.

A second suspect then demanded her cell phone. She handed both over to the suspects.

The second suspect claimed to have a gun but never displayed a weapon.

One suspect is described as wearing a red sweatshirt with zipper and hood.

The second suspect wore a black jacket with shiny material. He stood about 6 feet, two inches tall.

EARLIER REPORT

A robbery has been reported on University of Dayton’s campus.

Around 12:30 a.m., police responded to the 300 block of East Stewart Street on UD’s campus after a woman reported three males demanded her belongings, including her cell phone.

She reported the men said they had a handgun, but didn’t display one.

She described the suspects as black males, with the first wearing a red full zip hooded sweatshirt with the hood up. The second suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. Further description on the third suspect was not given.
