Santa, tree lighting signal start of holiday season at WPAFB

The holiday season has arrived at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base with the lighting of the Christmas tree and a visit from Santa.

The annual event on base Wednesday night featured holiday tunes sung by a youth children's choir and the arrival of Santa by horse and sleigh.

After the ceremony, the festivities moved indoors and those in attendance were given the opportunity to take photos with the jolly old elf and participate in crafts and games.
