Severe thunderstorm warning extended for Butler, Warren counties

MIDDLETOWN — The National Weather Service has extended a severe thunderstorm warning for northern Butler County and northwestern Warren County to 10:30 p.m. tonight, April 5.

At 9:18 p.m., radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail, according to NWS officials.

The storm was located near Reily Twp. and was moving east about 40 mph.

Areas impacted include: Seven Mile, Trenton, South Middletown, Middletown, Monroe, Carlisle, Franklin and Lebanon.

In addition, Interstate 75 near mile markers 27 and 42, Ohio 63, Ohio 741, Ohio 48, Ohio 73, Collinsville, New Miami, Jacksonburg, Genntown, Pekin and Lytle are near the path of this storm.
