Police are continuing to ask for help identifying two men they are calling “persons of interest” in a shots fired incident on Woodman Drive following a crash near the Airway Shopping Center.

Officers responded to the area Sunday morning after receiving information that shots were fired around 2:50 a.m. at a vehicle following a crash.

A woman who was involved in the crash told police she got out of her truck to ask for the insurance information from the other driver.

“She had a brief confrontation with the male driver, and then she got a ‘bad feeling,” an incident report read.  “The male then pulled out a gun.”

The woman got back in her truck and drove south on Woodman to get away from the other driver. However, “the car pulled up beside her and the passenger began shooting at her,” the report showed.

The car then drove through the median and turned around to drive north on Woodman Drive.

Police found seven bullet holes on the driver’s side of the woman’s truck, however, was not injured during the incident.

Police released surveillance footage Monday afternoon. Anyone may know the people in the footage is urged to contact Riverside police at 937-233-2080 or 937-233-1801.
