UD signs with Pepsi, ends deal with Coke

University of Dayton will now be serving Pepsi products to students and fans.

In a release sent out by the University, officials said the change from Coke products to Pepsi products happened for many reasons, including an agreement from Pepsi “to help fund some of the University’s sustainability initiatives, recruit students for jobs and internships and provide athletic marketing support.”

Pepsi products will be served on campus in dining halls, UD Arena and at University-sponsored events. Non-Pepsi products will no longer be available for purchase at the university and Coke logos will have to be removed from UD promotional materials and products.
