The book’s 80 pages recount stories passed on to her by a former resident and history buff.
“Don Ross did the research. I’ve been telling the stories,” Sproat said.
Last week, Sproat distributed copies to Springboro City Council.
“It’s important for them to know it,” Sproat said.
“I really would love to see more Springboro residents know about this history.”
For now, the book can be purchased for $10 in the local history museum, 110 S. Main St. The museum is open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, or by appointment.
