He was arrested by Clark County deputies about 4:45 a.m. Thursday. Ames is expected to appear in court at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
Deputies and medics responded about 2:30 a.m. Sept. 29 to the 2200 block of South Yellow Springs Street on the report of several gunshots fired outside the Wayside Tavern.

After the incident, deputies viewed surveillance video that captured the incident, according to court records. Ames allegedly can be seen on the video pulling a firearm out of his sweatshirt, according to court records, and shooting it from the building toward South Yellow Springs Street and homes on the other side of the street.
