Summer Prairie Walks explore beautfiful part of Wright-Patt

The Wright-Patterson Air Force Base community is invited to spend a lunch break enjoying a free guided tour of the Huffman Prairie and Huffman Prairie flying fields during one of two Summer Prairies Walks July 24 and July 30 at 11 a.m.

Free and open to the public, the walks will allow participants to explore the airfield where Orville and Wilbur Wright conquered the air while learning about the unique plants that call it home.

Entering through Gate 16A, attendees are to meet at the Huffman Prairie. Bring sunscreen, bug spray and water.
