Wright-Patterson Air Force Base has two golf courses: Prairie Trace and Twin Base.

Prairie Trace golf course, the original golf course at Wright-Patterson, has been a part of the base since 1948. It features two courses – an 18-hole west course and a 9-hole east course – open to military and civilian personnel and their guests. While the courses are relatively straight forward, strategically placed trees provide added challenge, and accurate tee shots are needed to avoid tall, thick rough.

A full-service grill and bar are also on site for those who need a bite to eat.

Twin Base golf course, open since 1964, is located off base along State Route 444 and features an 18-hole course. In addition, Twin Base also boasts a driving range and three practice greens as well as a golf shop, a full-service grill and the Jones Room Ballroom, a location for private functions.
