The execution of the search warrant Wednesday and subsequent arrests ends a long-term drug trafficking investigation, Sheriff’s Capt. Andy Flagg said in a prepared statement.
During the execution of the warrant, task force detectives recovered a large quantity of fentanyl, meth, cocaine, marijuana, cash and a firearm.
Dewayne Chappell Jr., 29; Darius Brooks, 23; and Devantae Thompson, 24, were arrested and booked at the Montgomery County Jail ona charge of drug possession.
The Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office will review additional charges.
