“Blessing of the Bikes started this morning about 10 o’clock and ran til 4 p.m. From what we were told, all of those riders were exiting that venue,” Milstead said of the event at Kil-Kare Raceway.
The CRV driver is facing a failure to yield citation, Milstead said.
“You’ve just got to be aware of everyone around you, including bikes. They are difficult to see. You have to give that extra second of your time before proceeding into an intersection,” he said.

Four people were taken to the hospital after a sport utility vehicle collided with a car and two motorcycles this afternoon in Xenia Twp.
The two motorcyclists were stopped at the intersection of Fairground and Hawkins roads when the eastbound SUV attempted turn left onto Hawkins and struck the car, then careened into the two motorcyclists, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol Xenia Post.
Two people were riding the motorcycle that ended up underneath the SUV. Both were conscious when transported to the hospital, according to the patrol.
Two people in the white car were also taken to the hospital.
A witness tells us the motorcyclists had just left the Blessing of the Bikes event at Kil-Kare Raceway.

Crews in Xenia Twp. are on scene of a reported motorcycle crash at the intersection of Fairground and Hawkins roads.
The crash happened around 2 p.m.
Traffic is blocked at the intersection as emergency personnel respond to the scene.
