Tree comes down, snaps 2 utility poles in Huber Heights

An iWitness7 reporter submitted this photo, which shows two utility poles that snapped Saturday afternoon in the 4800 block of Chambersburg Road, just past Old Troy Pike.

Although it appears in the photo that one of the poles hit a minivan, Huber Heights police officer Cory Siegrist said only the wires landed on the vehicle.

The driver had just pulled out of a driveway around 4:30 p.m. when a tree came down and snapped a couple of power poles.

Chambersburg Road is blocked at Old Troy Pike while crews work to fix the lines.

No injuries were reported.
