The truck was sitting the the backup of a crash on Wilmington Pike near East Centerville Station Road when the driver said he heard the tree start to fall.
The ladder rack on the truck took the majority of the damage from the downed tree, according to our crew.
No injuries were reported.
Wilmington Pike was blocked while crews removed the tree from the truck and roadway.

A tree reportedly fell on a vehicle on Wilmington Pike this afternoon, according to initial emergency dispatch traffic.
The incident was reported around 1 p.m. and there are reports police are closing the road near Moss Oak Trail.
