Valley Food Relief needs your help

Valley Food Relief

Valley Food Relief

Dear Reader,

Hunger impacts over 116,000 people in our region. For many of us, It’s easy to take having dinner on the table each night for granted, something that is a daily struggle for thousands of families right here in the Miami Valley.

The good news: your continued support of Valley Food Relief is making a difference. Last year we provided nearly $200,000 or 1,200,000 meals, to help The Foodbank feed hungry families, children, and seniors. Every penny donated to Valley Food Relief is used to purchase food to feed hungry families in our community. All contributions are distributed through The Foodbank’s network of community and faith-based food pantries, shelters and community kitchens.

For every $1 you give, The Foodbank will provide food for six meals in Montgomery, Greene, and Preble counties. Would you consider supporting us again this year?

Giving is easy and your donations are tax deductible:

• Go to www.DaytonDailyNews.com/foodrelief to give online

• Send a check to Valley Food Relief, 56 Armor Place Dayton, Ohio, 45417

• Look for the envelopes inserted in the Dayton Daily News in today’s paper and on November 24th, December 15th, and December 22nd.

Thank you for your compassion and generosity. Your support provides our neighbors with nutritious meals and a hope for a bright future.

Sincerely,

Rob Rohr
