One or more unknown suspects triggered a security alarm at a branch of the Dayton Metro library, located at 3207 Hoover Ave., on Friday afternoon.
According to a police incident report obtained Saturday, both the east entry door and the large window next to it were damaged. The window’s outside pane was broken out. The door had three impact points on it, according to the report, which led investigators to believe someone might have been throwing rocks at it.
No entry was made into the library, according to police.
Damage reports were not immediately available.
