The City of Springboro Planning Commission will meet in work session tonight on a final development plan for an addition to Southwest Church, 150 Remick Blvd. in Settlers Walk.
Also tonight, the commission will discuss a planning and zoning code amendment on enforcement and penalty provisions. It is also scheduled to discuss appointment of the chair and vice chair.

I-71 lane closure around bridge construction
Pavement work will require lane closures on Interstate 71 at the Jeremiah Morrow Bridge this week, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
The right lane of northbound I-71 will be closed from 7 a.m. to noon today and the right lane of southbound I-71 will be closed from 7 a.m. to noon Thursday.
The lane closures will be in place between the Wilmington Road exit and the southern end of the bridge. Traffic delays may become lengthy, according to ODOT. All work is weather dependent.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.

LEBANON
MLK day events planned
In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the MLK Community Coalition of Lebanon will host a day of service from noon to 6 p.m. Monday at Lebanon Presbyterian Church, 123 N. East St.
The community is encouraged to participate in collection drives for new and gently worn winter coats, children and adult books and non-perishable food items for the Lebanon Food Pantry.
Other activities during the event will include a MLK Artwork Shop and face painting.
In addition, the 2nd annual Clergy Appreciation Dinner will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Bethel A.M.E. Church, 111 N. Cherry St. This dinner is free and open to all area clergy, pastors and ministers. A march will kick off at 6 p.m. at Bethel A.M.E. Church, followed by a musical celebration at 7 p.m.
