Welcome party for Kittyhawk Ski Club set for Sept. 27 at Hope Hotel

The Kittyhawk Ski Club will host its season kick-off party Sept. 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Packy’s in the Hope Hotel adjacent to Gate 12A at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

Skiers and snow boarders of all levels and non-skiers are all welcome. The club is offering free one-year membership to all new members and the party is free to all attendees who join. Party fare will include assorted appetizers and a cash bar.

All 2020 ski trips are open and accepting sign ups. Attendees can meet fellow winter sports enthusiasts and learn about the club’s social events and ski trips to Michigan (Boyne Highlands), Canada (Red Mountain on Canada’s famous powder highway), New York (Holiday Valley, kids younger than 18 ski and lodge free) and Utah (Zermatt Resort with skiing at Deer Valley, Park City, & Sundance).

Active-duty military and retirees qualify for the military rate EPIC pass, valid at Park City. GOOGLE “EPIC Pass” for information. Club members include activity-duty military, retirees, base civilian employees and other local area residents.
