One of five people charged in a Sept. 29 home invasion has admitted his involvement in the incident, which left the defendant in a wheelchair.

Keason Twittty, 25, pleaded guilty this morning to aggravated burglary with a firearm specification, felonious assault and conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary.

Twitty faces a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison and up to $50,000 in fines. As part of the plea agreement, the prosecution is recommending a sentence of seven years.

The judge ordered a pre-sentence investigation and sentencing is set to happen in March.

Twitty appeared for the change-in-plea hearing in a wheelchair. He was paralyzed in the alleged home invasion on North Montgomery County Line Road when the homeowner exchanged gunfire with the intruders, according to investigators. The homeowner was never charged in the incident.

Twitty is free on bond until the sentencing hearing. The cases against the four other defendants are pending.
